“Ability is nothing without opportunity” – Napoleon Bonaparte

Founded in 1881, HEC Paris is a world-class international business school located just 10 miles outside of the Républiques capital in a serene and tranquil French commune called Jouy-en-Josas. Known for training tomorrows business leaders and entrepreneurs, the HEC Paris esteemed alumni include L’Oréal CEO Jean-Paul Agon, Best Buy Chairman and CEO Hubert Joly, Facebook live creator Fidji Simo, Danone CEO & Chairman Emmanuel Faber and the former President of the French Republic himself, François Hollande, just to name a few.

HEC Paris is among the most selective French grande écoles that offers programs such as Master in Management, MBA and EMBA, specialized MSc programs, a PhD program and a Youth Leadership program during the summer. The 11 intensive summer programs are taught in English and are open to university students and recent graduates. In the Business and Geopolitics Summer School Program for example, students learn how geopolitics can help decision-makers integrate global political and macroeconomic issues into their strategic thought process.

GeoPolitics Professor Jérémy Ghez

“The Geopolitics, Globalization and Business Strategy Summer Program lets participants broaden their horizons and consider how what happens beyond the market can affect their activities” said GeoPolitics Professor Jérémy Ghez.  Over one hundred nationalities participate in the many HEC Paris program offerings. The peaceful wooded campus is designed to offer the perfect setting for learning. It showcases fun indoor/ outdoor activities, two lakes for quiet reflection, nature explorations as well as bars and restaurants. On the weekends, some students visit Paris or Versailles by train and/or have meetings in La Défense, the biggest business district in Europe where many multinational companies have set up headquarters.
