Nov 21, 2015, Los Angeles, CA, (DGC)– Move over American Music Awards, the star-studded red-carpet fundraising gala, “A Night of Heroes”, was apparently the place to be over the weekend, if you were lucky enough to get an invite, that is. The private event was held at the glamorously winsome Hollywood Hills estate of Peter and Lisa Lew Brennan. The Emmy award winning couple welcomed friends to join them in the holiday spirit of giving, by hosting an exclusive party, benefiting The Veterans Holiday Celebration (VHC) charity.
One of the highlights of the evening was the captivating fashion show by Celebrity Fashion Designer Andre Soriano, featuring his lovely models who walked on a floating, illuminated runway over the Brennan’s decadent lagoon inspired swimming pool. Some of the guests braved climbing up the garden-style, picturesque grounds (in high heels) to find Andy Scharfman aka “CigarMan Andy” displaying his signature Cesar Cigars at the very top of the estates terrace.
Actor Jim Belushi arrived with his wife Jennifer Sloan to receive his American Patriot Award for his steadfast support of American Veterans for nearly two decades. Towards the end of the delightful evening, a select few lucky guests were overjoyed to win opulent, high-ticket holiday luxury items through a live auction.
Notable Military guests included First Sgt. Harvey Walden and Staff Sgt. Devon E. Debaney and celebrities Kevin Dobson, Anna Kile, Shar Jackson, Rachael O’Brien, Hannah and Joey Sapone, Ruba Ibrahim, Amal Alrefaie, Luna Ibrahim, Candi Cooper, Sharon and Joseph Hanassab, Dr. Carole Lieberman, Vikki Lizzi, Carolyn Hennessy, Clinton H. Wallace and Daniel Dicriscio.
Guests enjoyed the festive ambiance by DSL Audio speakers, dining on delicious Mexican eats from Mi Pueblo Mexican Grill and sipping vino from The Wine Caterers and/or cocktails made with premium vodka from Marani Vodka.
