Kelly Ripa, Emmy-winning winning television personality and popular co-host of nationally-syndicated morning talk show “Live with Kelly & Michael” was honored with 2,561st star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. The Ceremony took place in front of the historic El Capitan Theatre on Hollywood Boulevard.

Helping Kelly to unveil her star was her husband Mark Consuelos, Producer Michael Gelman as well as fellow Television host Jimmy Kimmel and actor/comedian Joel McHale.

Ripa was honored this year with her third Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Entertainment Talk Show Host for “LIVE.” Ripa also received two TV Guide nominations for “Favourite Daytime Talk Show” and multiple People’s Choice nominations for “Favourite Talk Show Host.”

Ripa praised Regis Philbin who she said help nurtured her transition from Soap star to talk show host, she also had  beautiful words to say about current co-host Michael Strahan and equally praised producer Michael Gelman. She credited them both for helping her to become a better person.

Christy was educated in Paris at École des hautes études commerciales de Paris (HEC Paris), an international business school in France and studied film and television at LACC (Los Angeles Community College). In 2019, she released her first foreign short film "Perdu à France" ("Lost In Provence")- also streaming on Amazon. She lives in Los Angeles.
