Mariah Carey Receives The 2,556th Star on the Legendary Hollywood Walk Of Fame 

It’s close to 11:30am and Mariah Carey has finally arrived, she looks amazing in her dress by designer Yousef Aljasmi, Mariah is flanked by her adorable twins Moroccan and Monroe, both are so excited to see all the attention their beautiful mom attracts. The twins are so happy to participate in all the excitement, Mariah takes a seat and ever so savvy, she gets busy posting to her social media accounts, she wants to share her joy with the world, as well as to update all her fans who are here to support. She signs an autograph for a young girl has been here since 4AM.

Today is the 5^th of August and this is the big day that Mariah all her Lambs have been waiting for, a few weeks ago the Hollywood Chamber Of Commerce announced that Mariah would be receiving a star on the iconic Hollywood Walk Of Fame. Immediately she took to her social media platforms to blast out invites and thank you’s to all her fans.

Mariah is one of the best-selling artists of all time, her successful career has seen Eighteen No.1 hit singles on the Billboard Hot 100 pop chart, and she has over 200 million in record sales to her credit.

Mariah has won five Grammys and she was the recipient of the Billboard Artist of the Decade Award.

Last January on The Ellen Degeneres Show, Mariah announced her two month summer residency at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas where she will be showcasing 18 of her No.1 hits along with never performed songs and fan favourites.

Her close friend Brett Ratner is one of the guest speakers at today’s ceremony, the two have been friends for years and have worked together quite often with Brett as director on a slew of Mariah’s music videos. The other guest speakers are Epic Record’s L.A. Reid, BET Network’s Stephen Hill and Academy Award-nominated director Lee Daniels. Mariah starred as Hattie Pearl in Lee Daniel’s The Butler and Lee’s other film the Oscar winning Precious.  James Packer her billionaire beau was not in attendance.
