On Hollywood’s greatest night…

elegance and opulence bestowed the Hollywood elite at the alluring Sue Wong Universes’ Academy Awards viewing soiree. An Oscars viewing party like no other, celebrity sightings, fashion and pure decadence unfolded throughout the evening as International Fashion Designer Sue Wong brought to life her first annual Living Canvas of Oscar Night event February 9, 2020 at the Taglyan Cultural Complex in West Hollywood.

A Global Fashion Icon

Ms. Wong is also a passionate humanitarian who cares deeply about her community. The Living Canvas of Oscar Night helped benefit Project Angel Food, a nonprofit that delivers 15,000 nutritious meals each week to those affected by life-threatening illnesses in Los Angeles. Project Angel Food’s CEO Richard Ayoub was honored with the Humanitarian of the Year award, as well as Christine Devine with the Broadcast Icon Award and Nigel Daly with the British Icon Award.

“What a night to remember,” said Scott Page, saxophone and rhythm guitarist for Pink Floyd. “The fashion, location, entertainment, and atmosphere brought people together on Oscar night in a way that no one else could. Sue Wong is a host unlike any other!”

After a très chaude retrospective fashion show and an unprecedented live performance by the Shaolin Temple monks, who were accompanied by female drummers, guests then viewed The Academy Awards on two huge screens while feasting on delicious culinary delights. It was a night of sophistication, glamour, music and fashion.  Only the incomparable Sue Wong has the ability and precision to bring forth such an exquisite magical evening.
