This year’s GRAMMY® presenters, nominees and performers included Lionel Richie (MUSICARES Lifetime Achievement Award recipient), Adele, Justin Bieber, Pitbull, Carrie Underwood, The Weeknd, The Hollywood Vampires (actor/musician Johnny Depp’s band), Little Big Town, Alabama Shakes, Bonnie Raitt, Stevie Wonder, Lady Gaga and 5-time host LL COOL J. I’ve met LL COOL J many times including having dinner with him and his manager at the Redbury Hotel in Hollywood after a TV Academy “For Your Consideration” pre EMMY event seeking nominations for the GRAMMY’s. He is without a doubt one of the nicest people in show biz.
“It is a true honor to be even a very small part of Music’s Biggest Night®,” says DistinctiveAssets’ founder Lash Fary. The GRAMMY® Gift Lounge has become one of the most lauded gift events in the world, which seems fitting based on the incomparable stature of the show itself.”

For three full days during GRAMMY® rehearsals, The GRAMMY Gift Lounge, now in its 17th year, was sponsored by TOOLS BY GINA featuring pure infrared professional blow dryers and flat irons from hair expert extraordinaire Gina Rivera (valued at $250). This year, the selection of “swag” was a veritable feast for the senses. There was mouth watering Phillip Ashley Chocolates’ Luxe Collection (valued at $199 and also gifted a $3000 gold leaf box), head turning designer sunglasses from Marchon ($150-$350), SCUF Gaming (Xbox compatible $300), Belldini apparel ($300+), Fit Club TV “Ultimate Fitness Package” included a live in Fitness VIP experience in a private villa $6000) , Fit Culture Threads ($120) and Culture Fuel supplements ($60). This package alone ($6180) is worth the price of admission. All I can say is WOW! Where do I sign up?

Additional goodies for those lucky VIP’s included SIS by Simone I Smith jewelry + FOCUS for Men bracelets by Simone I Smith ($300+), colorful and practical Tresspass performance outer ware (perfect for those skiers in Aspen, Sundance or France $200), Noon VR, a virtual reality headset & mobile app made for IOS & Android mobile devices ($89) and Flos Floris’s snap back hat ($130).

Socially conscious company Truth x Vans by Kevin Lyons featured one-of-a-kind sneakers that encourage everyone to use their voices and creativity to end smoking ($70) and the Natural Mixologist & The Vault’s gold medal winning organic, gluten free and vegan spirits, custom crafted cocktails for your event valued at $2700.
Distinctive Assets was once again joined by event producer Pam Morrison who supervised all elements of Lounge design, set up and décor which was provided by Koi Interiors, a design firm that transforms space into art. It was truly a beautiful and serene environment where the Talent was able to get a short respite from the frenetic pace of rehearsals for the big awards show. (services valued at $1000).

Among the Talent and VIP’s in attendance were Distinctive Assets Founder Lash Fary, Neil Portnow, Presidenti/CEO of the Recording Academy & Grammy Foundation, Justin Bieber (who wouldn’t allow photos), 2016 GRAMMY® winner DJ Diplo, Rapper Shad “Bow Wow” Moss, Actor/ Musician Johnny Depp and Joe Perry (The Hollywood Vampires), Stevie Wonder, GRAMMY® host LL Cool J, Actress Pauley Perrete, music producer Jimmy Jam, Bella Harris, Singer CAM, Yolanda Adams, Zendaya, members of The Fairfield Four, the Mavericks, 2016 GRAMMY® winners Little Big Town, Alabama Shakes, Kirstin Maldanado of Pentatonix, singers George Clinton, Aaron Carter, Nick Fadiani, Madi Wolf and the list goes on. There were dozens of celebrities at the Lounge throughout the three day lollapalooza.

Distinctive Assets was truly one of the best gifting lounges I’ve attended and a great timewas had by all attendees. I can’t wait for 2017. Care to join me?
