The sexual exploitation of children and young women is one of the biggest and most perverse criminal business operations in the world. The actual business of selling or trading humans for sex has been a global epidemic for centuries. In fact, every 3 minutes, a minor is sexually exploited in the United States. Now, with grassroot campaigns and movements like #Metoo forming and the exposure of powerful men who would otherwise be deemed as professional, the heinous world of sex trafficking is now front and center.

In response to this crisis of flesh-peddlers, humanitarian and yogi Natalie Backman and The Young Leaders Council, decided to create The Bohemian Ball, a night where notable guests gather to raise funds and bring awareness to the non-profit charity, Unlikely Heroes, an organization that rescues and rehabilitates child victims of sex trafficking all around the world.

During the evening, the Young Leaders Council showcased the work of Unlikely Heroes in a stage presentation, highlighting the success stories of children that have been rescued within their program while singer Tyrone Wells performed a medley of songs.
