My Quarantine Weight Gain

It’s been nearly a year since the world was sucker-punched by an invisible virus. And in that year, I’ve been living in yoga pants and track suits while working from home during lock down. About 6 weeks ago, I decided to put on my favorite jeans and was shocked to see that my gut was bulging over the top of them! My heart sank. How did this happen? I did some research on fat burners for women and discovered a supplement that actually worked for me and wanted to share it with you.

What Is The Best Fat Burner?

After investigating many brands, I found a supplement that suppresses my appetite and kicks my metabolism up a few notches. It is made with all natural ingredients, including glucomannan. I had never heard of glucomannan. According to science, people who take glucomannan as a food supplement lost 5.5lbs over an 8 week period without making any other changes to their diet or exercise habits. (Science fact check: Walsh, D.E., Yaghoubian, V. & Behforooz, A. (1984): ‘Effect of glucomannan on obese patients: a clinical study’. International Journal of Obesity, 1984;8(4):289-93). I am happy to say that I have now lost 5 pounds by taking these fat burning supplements. I feel full and have had no cravings.

How Does Glucomannan Aid Weight Loss?

Glucomannan is a water-soluble dietary fiber that is super low in calories and promotes weight loss by taking up space in your stomach – which promotes a feeling of fullness – which then reduces food intake. Okay, that makes sense. It also feeds the friendly bacteria in your intestine for awesome gut health. You can get it in powder form or take it in pill form like me as a supplement.

I like the pill form because it simplifies the process. The ingredients are below for the brand that worked for me. Pandemic or no pandemic, my goal is to get back into my jeans and be bikini ready for summer!
